freelanceContractTemplates provides legal contract templates for freelancers. The Service includes free templates, premium (Pro) templates, a contract builder tool, and related features. Templates are provided in PDF and DOCX formats.

3. Not Legal Advice

The templates and content provided through this Service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Using these templates does not create an attorney-client relationship. You should consult a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction for advice specific to your situation.

4. Accounts and Payment

To access Pro templates and features, you must create an account and provide accurate payment information. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. Bundle purchases are one-time. All prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Pro subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Bundle purchases include a 14-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, contact us at support@freelancecontracttemplates.com.

5a. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service. Prohibited activities include: attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; using automated scripts or bots to scrape, download, or interact with the Service; reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing templates to third parties; uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or other malicious code; harassing, abusing, or harming another person; and interfering with other users' access to the Service.

5b. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is illegal. Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

5c. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

5d. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall be conducted in Delaware. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. Alternatively, either party may seek relief in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdiction.

6. Intellectual Property

Once you purchase or download a template, you may use it for your own contracts and business purposes. You may modify the template for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the templates themselves.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service and templates are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. In no event shall freelanceContractTemplates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of templates or the Service, including but not limited to legal disputes, financial losses, or business interruptions. You use this Service and templates entirely at your own risk.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
